Species name and age: (Pennant, 1769)
English name: Comb Duck
Description: male for large (76 cm) and not black and white duck confusion. Have highlighted the black lips fleshy tumor. White on the head and neck covered with black dots. Black upper body flashes green and copper metallic luster. Like male female, but the size of very small tumors and no meat. Female nesting in natural tree holes, wooded habitat in reservoirs and rivers.
Iris - brown; mouth - black; foot - gray.
Call: call ducks quack low. Breeding season may issue the howling breath, when to show off the sound or murmur hiss.
Distribution: South America, Africa, India, Myanmar and Southwest China.
Distribution: named subspecies in the south-eastern Tibet and Yunnan in southern polar pattern of the wetlands have now become scarce. Southeastern China, the birds sometimes fans.
Habit: Habitat group and a number of trees in the swamps of the water network areas.
Note: White-winged Wood Duck Cairina scutulata may occur in the lowland south-eastern Tibet. However, females may aneurysm neck black duck, wings have white spots.
