Important pathological changes in hair follicle tumor

General pathological changes
A tumor located in the dermis, symmetry, border clearance,

f tumor cells was significantly heterogeneous; isthmic keratinization composition, with light staining cytoplasm and around the cells were arranged in palisade-like outer hair root sheath cells and dense polygon or Pilomatrixoma basaloid cells.
Pathological differential diagnosis
Trichoepithelioma: no expansion of the central primary follicles, the tumor cells mainly basaloid tumor cells rather than a variety of hair follicle cells, there is no hair dry.
Clinical features
A mostly adult males,
b occurred in the face, especially the nose, followed by head and neck,
c damage often single for a higher surface of the skin papules or nodules, about 4mm in diameter, the central concave have umbilical, which are clustered across the vellus hair.
